On December 22, 2018, I attended the awaited wedding of my cousin Faye Delmas at Boneco (Before Binga), Itogon, Benguet. She exchanged wedding vows with Mr. Ceasar Catos.
They used Gold as their wedding’s motif and utilized their yard for their Garden Wedding.
Aside from the yard for the wedding rites, there is a separate Dining Area for the Sponsors Downstairs as shown in the next Picture:
Of course the wedding Cake forms part of the highlight. Here’s my Cellphone shot of it:
Congrats on your Wedding! May you continue to find those that makes you happy! Again, Congratulations, Best Wishes and God Bless!

I was lucky to be assigned by my Superiors to Attend the Benguet Capitol Employees Christmas Celebration today and serve as a member of the team to determine the Best in various categories of the Performances that was Presented.
Their Celebration was simple but well participated. There were 21 groups who displayed their skills in acting, dancing, and singing that lasted the whole day today. Each of them is assigned with a theme based from a Movie. I was not able to photograph some but here are most of them.
These groups are composed of employees from different Department Offices in the Benguet Provincial Capitol.
The Verdict
Well, everyone performed well and their Costumes are Superbly made with all efforts! It was amazing. And they were all winners. Awards were given to those who excelled per Category:
Best Execution to those whose performances emphasized their theme “Sharing the Love and Happiness”.
Most Innovative to those who performed new style and techniques.
Most Spirited to those who were Jolly and Energetic while executing their performances.
There were also special awards given individually to those with remarkable performance that actually carried their Group. (We will be updating this upon uploads of Official Photos of the Event.)
But most of all, It was successful as everyone performed, participated and enjoyed as I did.
So again, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the employees of the Provincial Government of Benguet headed by Governor Cresencio Pacalso. Mabuhay Kayo! And Thank you for the Invitation.

The whole of the Igorot Community is Proud and Happy to Congratulate the Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. I saw it in many Facebook Posts earlier. She does deserve it!
Aside from her beauty, her Patriotism and Intelligence Quantity spoke a lot in the Pageant. Her answers to the questions were on point. And I derived #marijuanause + #tondomanila = Miss Universe 2018.
The Final Question
“What is the most important lesson you’ve learned in your life and how would you apply it to your time as Miss Universe?”
Amazingly, she held on to her game plan of serving the poor and pointed out her experience working in Tondo, Manila: “I work a lot in slums of Tondo, Manila. And the life there is very… it’s poor and it’s very sad. And I always taught myself to look for the beauty in it, to look in the beauty of the faces of the Children and to be Grateful. And I would bring this aspect as a Miss Universe to see situations with a silver lining and to assess where I could give something, where I could provide something as a spokesperson. And this I think if I can teach people to be grateful, we can have an amazing world where negativity could not grow and foster and children will have smile on their faces.”
Why Igorots Love her
Her Ifugao “Inabel” (weaved) inspired Filipiniana Skirt triggered most of it. She was the only Icon who wore such for an International Event who is not actually from the Cordillera. Isn’t that amazing for us Cordilleran? And maybe she was inspired by Visiting the Batad, Ifugao and Sagada.

Then her National Costume below depicts a lot of Igorot Culture. The tattoos of Buscalan, Kalinga and her hair dress beads are very familiar. One that the Igorots use.
In addition, some news and articles have said that Catriona’s Boyfriend Clint Bondad is a half Igorot. Thus, She loves Igorots too. 🙂
Thank you Miss Catriona Gray! We are proud to be a Filipino once more! You inspired the whole nation! and the Cordilleras! Mabuhay ka!

Miss Erika Faith Cornelio Holman is crowned Miss Benguet 2018 yesterday. She represented the Municipality of Bokod. And she deserved it.
If I’m not mistaken, the last time Bokod claimed the crown of this prestigous pageant was on 2003, (15 years ago). It was by Miss Bernadette Cenon, my High School Batchmate.
Erika is 18 years old and managed to outlast all 12 candidates from other Municipalities of the competion. Because She is beautiful and indeed witty!
I had this conversation with her before her coronation night regarding Benguet Adivay Theme and she has something to say. She has the intelligence that Miss Benguet Pageant requires.
And with her win, I say, it’s all about Resiliency!
Congratulations again Erika! Good luck on your reign and thank you for listening and representing! Godspeed!
